Chase high-energy Kokanee and hard-fighting Rainbow Trout and Cutthroat Trout in the scenic waters surrounding Seattle, Everett, and Bellingham. Our primary destinations include Lake Sammamish, Lake Stevens, Lake Whatcom and Lake Samish.
Kokanee (aka silver bullets) are landlocked sockeye salmon. Not the largest fish in the water (12-15) inches), but what they lack in size they make up for in aggression and unmatched table fare. With a statewide general limit of 10 fish per person, this fishery is a great choice to put some chrome fillets on your plate, freezer, and smoker!
Trout fishing is where many of us began, the same is true for us at Fast Action. Growing up near Lake Sammamish, we guide our home lake for wild cutthroat trout, who fight hard and cut deep red. With an average size of 15-20 inches, these fish are in a class of their own in lake fishing! In the spring, we jump onto some of our local rainbow fisheries in the North Sound, a great kid-friendly option!
There are no guarantees in fishing, but these trips allow great opportunity and high catch rates. We target the best bite windows and timeframes in each fishery to put luck on our side.
